Vernon BMXEveryone wants to be #1… but at Vernon BMX we really are! . How do we know? Because we say so! And if we’re that passionate about our sport's drive, skill, passion and sportsmanship, then nothing else matters (except, of course, your support). Vernon BMX was established in 1980 when a petition was circulated to change an empty "dumping grounds" lot into a BMX track. The City named it Ranger Park. In 1983, we joined the Canadian American Bicycle Association although we have found a trophy with 1982 printed on it. Our sanctioning body today is BMX Canada. Vernon BMX is a non-profit organization totally run by volunteers. We need about 13 volunteers to run a Tuesday night race and many more are needed when we host a major race. Vernon BMX is proud to say we have had 6 riders go "Pro" and are working on more for the future.Shylo Orchard, President / Track OperatorNone Listedhttps://www.vernonbmx.com/ https://www.facebook.com/vernonbmxtrack
